Description
From the technology that offered the first unidirectional surface mount mic comes the follow-up version to the popular SM91A. The MX393 is a condenser surface microphone with built-in preamp, programmable switch and LED indicator for optimum pick-up. This unit also features a detachable 10 foot XLR cable to terminate easily to professional sound systems. Three versions of this outstanding boundary mic are available in cardioid, supercardioid and omni directional patterns.
Did You Know…… that while boundary mics are widely utilized in conference rooms and training applications many Audio Engineers use them as drum recording mics. It’s true! Musicians and Audio Engineers can benefit from a pair of boundary mics by placing them on the floor on both sides of a kick drum, on the walls or even inside the kick drum. Have fun experimenting to find your killer drum sound.
