Description
The Shure R59 is a replacement cartridge for the SM58 Microphone. You can feel confident you will experience no difference between the replacement and the original.
R59 ReplacementInstructions:
Remove and attach the new cartridge using a soldering iron (as shown in the image).
The GREEN wire attaches to the terminal next to the embossed plus (+) sign (or single-digit number).
NOTE: On older models, there may be a third, black wire. Connect this wire to the case ground nut between the green and yellow terminals on the cartridge.
IMPORTANT: Twist the cartridge three times counterclockwise before screwing
the cartridge onto the case. This prevents strain on the wires.
